US Accounting Manager

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented US Accounting Manager to join our team. The role will will be response for the accounting and consolidation processes for the US operations and subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to both IFRS and US GAAP standards. 

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly financial closing and reporting for U.S. consolidation and subsidiaries, ensuring timely and compliant delivery per Group and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial performance, providing insights and proposals to support leadership decisions and risk management.
• Manage relationships with auditors, due diligence teams, and government agencies, ensuring accurate and high-quality financial data.
• Maintain and enhance financial systems (e.g., SAP, BPC) and their integration with operational platforms.
• Implement effective financial controls and processes to safeguard assets, ensure compliance, and improve efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing finance team.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry—preferably in sales or R&D with consolidated reporting experience—or 5+ years in a Big Four accounting firm.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  
• Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
  
• Committed to the highest standards of legal and ethical conduct.

Desirable Criteria

• ACCA is highly preferred.
• Working experience in a US listed company is highly preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin.
